Kelly Virella is an award-winning journalist and media entrepreneur. She is the founder of Dominion of New York, an online magazine that targets creative and forward-thinking black people in NYC and of the digital magazine The Urban Thinker, a thought magazine featuring America's best black writers and their friends. Kelly has 13 years of experience working as a reporter and editor and two years of experience working full-time as an entrepreneur. Prior to becoming a journalist she worked in high-tech as a systems analyst for Visa International. She is a graduate of Stanford University and of the University of California at Berkeley.
